How to take Coloxyl® with Senna

For adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 or 2 tablets at night. Increase up to 4 tablets if necessary.

Coloxyl® with Senna active ingredients

Each tablet contains Docusate Sodium 50mg and total sennosides 8mg (calculated as Sennoside B). The sennoside is derived from natural senna. Senna stimulates muscle contractions in the bowel, combined with a softener which makes the stool easier to pass.

Warnings

While taking Coloxyl® with Senna, ensure that you drink plenty of water. Prolonged use is not recommended. If your symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea. Do not take with other medicines or liquid paraffin, unless advised by a doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of a health professional before taking this product. Store below 30ºC and protect from light. Do not use if cap seal is broken.
